Impact resistant ~ temperature resistant ~ elegant

Bottom plates METHERM® made by Mennes GmbH are manufactured according to  DIN 1249, part 12, and feature following advantages:

  • more impact and pressure resistance than usual float glass
  • thermal shock resistance up to 150 K
  • pressure resistance up to 900 N/mm²

Our bottom plates made of tempered safety glass are available by default in 6 or 8 mm strength. Of course, further strengths are also available.  Special requests such as colours, printings with, for example, your company logo and special packaging may be realized easily.

Special forms and strengths are available according to your specifications. We deliver bottom plates also in green, grey or glazed. Our edge processing by default is the C-cut. Facet cut is also possible on request.
