1976 Formation of the company on 01. May 1976 in Werne a.d. Lippe

1986 Relocation of company. Success needs space. The expanding company moves its headquarters to 59379 Selm.
   
1987 Product extension by the takeover of a glassblowing business with glass apparatus engineering for the hot working of glass.
   
1990 Diversification by the takeover of a fitting fabrication for the production of flow-through sight glass fittings.
   
1997 As second generation, Peter Mennes is appointed to executive director.
   
1998 The first tempering furnace/hardening facility for the manufacture tempered safety glass takes up production.
   
2000 Modernization and expansion of hot forming and joining technology in the production field of plastics technology.
   
2002 Plant expansion.
Relocation of administration and partial relocation of plastics technology to Werner Str. 96.
   
2004

Registration of brand labels
BORAN®, BORIL®, BOSIL®, LUCHS®, MEFLOAT®, MERAX®, METHERM® at the German Patent and Trademark Office.

   
2005 The MENNES GmbH advances further.
The processing of glass is expanded automatically.
A water jet cutting system takes up production.
   
2006 Plant expansion by 4000 m2.
Spatial separation of special glass technology and plastics technology.
   
2008 Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
   
2009 Second thermal tempering furnace takes up production.
